How do I get started?
You're already off to a great start just by being here! The first step is to think about what kind of trip you’d like to take—maybe a cruise, a laid-back beach escape, or an epic road trip through New Zealand. You don’t need all the answers right now—this is just the starting point. Then click on "GET IN TOUCH" and tell me all about your trip.
Next, We'll schedule a time to chat so I can get a sense of your travel style and preferences. This helps me design a trip that’s perfectly tailored to you.
Once I have all your info, I’ll create a customized proposal that may include flights, cruises, hotels, excursions, and more—along with pricing. If anything isn’t quite right, we’ll tweak it together until it fits your vision. Planning should be fun, not stressful, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
Do you charge a fee for your services?
Most of my travel planning services are included at no additional cost when you book through ISOET’s trusted supplier partners. This covers hotels, cruises, tours, car rentals, excursions, and vacation packages. I’m compensated directly by these suppliers, so you receive personalized support and expert guidance at the same price you would pay if you booked it yourself, but with less stress and extra support.
In the rare instance that you request assistance with a travel component outside of my supplier network, a small service fee may apply—but I will always let you know in advance before any work begins.
Airfare Booking Fee: Because airlines do not pay commission, there is a flat $25 airfare booking fee per reservation (not per person) for flight bookings. This covers the time, research, fare monitoring, ticketing assistance, and post-booking support needed to secure flights that fit your travel plans. If your airfare is included and commissionable within a supplier package, this fee is waived.
Can I still earn points or miles?
In most cases, yes! Many airlines and hotel brands still allow you to earn points or miles when booking through a travel advisor. I’ll confirm this for you when planning your trip.
Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online?
Online booking sites can be convenient, but they don’t offer the personalized service and expert guidance that a travel advisor provides. I help you navigate the options, handle the details, and make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Plus, if anything unexpected happens while you’re traveling, you’ve got someone in your corner to help—no call centers, no waiting on hold.
